Cartier a présenté en 1928 sa première montre à heure sautante, la Tank à Guichets, une itération raffinée du modèle emblématique Tank Louis, dont seules quelques pièces ont été produites pendant quatre ans.

Cartier a revisité la Tank à Guichets à trois occasions différentes, chacune produite en quantité limitée. En 1996, une édition en or jaune, en or rose et en platine, se distinguant par leur couronne à 12 heures, a été produite à seulement 3 exemplaires chacune. L'année suivante, à l'occasion du 150e anniversaire de Cartier, une série de 150 modèles en platine dotés d'une couronne en rubis cabochon a été lancée. En 2006, Cartier a lancé la Collection Privée Cartier Paris en dévoilant une édition en or rose limitée à 100 exemplaires.

L'exemplaire que nous présentons ici, dévoilé en 1997 pour commémorer le 150e anniversaire de Cartier, incarne l'attrait du mystère dans l'horlogerie. Son design sophistiqué transcende les conventions, offrant une interprétation unique de la silhouette iconique de la Tank.

Caractérisé par des dimensions plus larges et des bords chanfreinés distincts, ce garde-temps en platine exsude l'élégance avec une finition brossée verticale et une couronne cabochon en rubis caractéristique. La complication de l'heure sautante est présentée dans un guichet central à douze heures, tandis que l'affichage des minutes présente un arc de cercle avec une flèche centrale. 

Animée par le calibre mécanique à heure sautante 9752 MC, fabriqué par Piaget pour Cartier, cette montre dispose d'une réserve de marche de 43 heures et bat à 21600 alternances par heure.

Cette montre est livrée avec une facture de service Cartier de 2024, une pochette de voyage et sa boucle déployante en or blanc Cartier.
