Cette Patek Philippe en or jaune est une montre particulière parmi toutes les collections de la manufacture. Ce modèle des années 70 s'inscrit dans une période turbulente pour l'industrie horlogère. En effet, la crise du quartz rebattait les cartes et certains horlogers décidèrent de prendre le contre-pied pour développer, grâce à leurs talentueux artisans, des mouvements mécaniques plus compliqués et plus fins et des designs particulièrement audacieux.

La ref. 4385 que nous avons ici dispose d'un boitier rectangulaire qui s'inspire du modèle Cartier Tank mais dont les flancs sont sertis de 42 diamants selon un dessin de tresse. Ce design simple mais atypique, met en avant le savoir-faire Patek Philippe avec ce travail d'orfèvre sur le boitier. Le cadran en onyx, une pierre naturellement minimaliste, contraste avec le travail sur le boitier, et la couleur noire contraste avec l'or jaune du boitier et permet de faire ressortir les aiguilles dauphines pour une lecture de l'heure parfaite.

Ce modèle est équipé du calibre mécanique à remontage manuel 16-250 qui offre une réserve de marche d'environ 38 heures.

La montre est livrée avec son extrait d'archives Patek Philippe.
