The Tradition collection, launched in 2005 with reference 7027, pays homage to the manufacture's past, drawing inspiration from Breguet's first subscription watches.

Founded in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, often considered the “father of modern watchmaking”, the brand has always been a benchmark for innovation, craftsmanship and timeless elegance in the world of watchmaking.

The Tradition collection, launched in 2005 with reference 7027, pays homage to the manufacture's past, drawing inspiration from Breguet's first subscription watches with a distinctive design that exposes the gear train, balance wheel and spring on the dial side, whereas they are usually installed on the back.

With a 37mm yellow gold case, this model features a recognizable, symmetrical design that places the silver dial at 12 o'clock, contrasting perfectly with the visible yellow gold components. The guilloché dial, in the purest Breguet tradition, also features blued Breguet hands. The atypical design of this model is one of the most striking in the modern history of Breguet, which almost 20 years after its creation, continues to appeal to collectors.

This model is equipped with the hand-wound 507DR mechanical caliber, visible from the back of the watch. A power-reserve indicator can also be found on the back, complementing the one visible on the front at 11 o'clock. This movement has a 50-hour power reserve.

The watch is delivered complete with box, outer-box, certificate of origin and manual.
