The Audemars Piguet “Cobra” ref. 56440BA is a superb testament to the bold design and technical expertise of the 1970s. Crafted in 18-karat yellow gold, it exemplifies an era when the Le Brassus-based maison was experimenting with new case shapes and integrated bracelets, while maintaining a remarkable level of craftsmanship.

The nickname “Cobra” derives from the fluidity of its integrated bracelet, whose perfectly hammered articulated links evoke the scales of the eponymous snake. This term originates from models featuring bracelets made of braided wires and, by extension, applies to those like the model presented here, which contrasts with the “Bamboo” model. The watch, offering exceptional flexibility and comfort, departs from classic dress watch designs and fits perfectly into a 29mm-ellipse-shaped case.

The champagne-colored dial shows a beautiful vertical brushed finish and stands out for its “quiet-luxury” style, featuring 12 applied diamond hour markers and dauphine hands. 

This model is equipped with the ultra-thin quartz caliber ref. 2612.

Introduced in 1976, the Patek Philippe Nautilus has established itself as one of the most iconic luxury sports watches in the watchmaking industry. Designed by Gérald Genta, it is distinguished by its porthole-inspired case, integrated bracelet, and horizontally grooved dial—features that have become, over time, the Geneva-based brand’s signature hallmarks.

Building on this iconic legacy, Patek Philippe has expanded the collection with models featuring complications. The 5726A-001, introduced in 2010, marked the first time an annual calendar was featured in the Nautilus line, combining technical sophistication with everyday readability.

This stainless steel model retains the Nautilus’s aesthetic DNA while offering a more technical presentation. Its anthracite-gray gradient dial, adorned with the signature horizontal pattern, features a comprehensive display: day and month in windows at 12 o’clock, date at 6 o’clock paired with a moon phase, as well as a discreet 24-hour indicator. The overall design remains perfectly balanced despite the wealth of information.

The 40.5 mm case, with its famous side “ears” and alternating satin-finished and polished surfaces, offers a sporty and elegant presence. Mounted on the integrated steel bracelet, the watch retains all the visual coherence and comfort that have made the model a success since its launch.

The Nautilus 5726A-001 is powered by the automatic caliber 324 S QA LU 24H/303, a manufacture movement featuring an annual calendar capable of automatically distinguishing between 30- and 31-day months. With a power reserve of approximately 45 hours and certified by the Patek Philippe Seal, it combines complexity, precision, and reliability.

The second model in the Nautilus collection to feature a moon phase complication, following the Ref. 3712 released in 2005, the 5712 was an undisputed success from the moment it was launched the following year, in 2006, to mark the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus. 

The 5712R-001, crafted in 18-karat rose gold and fitted with a brown leather strap, offers a warmer, more dressy interpretation of the model. Its subtly smoked, brown gradient dial features an iconic asymmetrical layout: moon phase, power reserve indicator, and date displayed by a hand, giving the watch an instantly recognizable identity.

The 40mm case, with its famous side “ears” and alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces, preserves the Nautilus’s aesthetic DNA while offering an elegant and contemporary presence. The choice of a leather strap accentuates its refined character, providing a more formal alternative to the integrated steel bracelet.

The watch is powered by the automatic caliber 240 PS IRM C LU (for Small Seconds, Power Reserve Indicator, Calendar, and Moon), an ultra-thin movement equipped with a 22-karat gold micro-rotor. It provides a power reserve of approximately 48 hours and is distinguished by the finesse of its architecture as well as its finishes, which comply with the Patek Philippe Seal.

The second model in the Nautilus collection to feature a moon phase complication, following the Ref. 3712 released in 2005, the 5712 was an undisputed success from the moment it was launched the following year to mark the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus. 

The 5712 features a blue gradient dial with grooved accents, displaying, in addition to the hours and minutes, a small seconds sub-dial at 4 o’clock, the date and moon phase at 7 o’clock, and a power reserve indicator at 10:30. The atypical layout of these elements creates a perfectly harmonious whole that is hard to resist. Its 40mm case strikes the perfect balance between elegance and sportiness. 

This model is equipped with the 240 PS IRM C LU caliber (for Small Seconds, Power Reserve Indicator, Calendar, and Moon) with a 21K gold micro-rotor.

Introduced in 2012, the Rolex Sky-Dweller is one of the most complex watches ever developed by the manufacturer, combining a dual time zone with an annual calendar while maintaining remarkable readability and ease of use—a feat true to Rolex’s functional approach.

The reference 326934, launched in 2017, marks a significant evolution of the model with the introduction of a version in Oystersteel with a white gold bezel. This variation, paired with the Oyster bracelet, reinforces the Sky-Dweller’s sporty and versatile character, while retaining the collection’s distinctive elements.

The model stands out in particular for its intense blue dial, which is highly sought-after and offers an elegant contrast to the applied hour markers and luminescent hands. The second time zone is displayed via an off-center 24-hour disc, while the “Saros” annual calendar indicates the month through discreet windows positioned at the hour markers.

The 42-mm Oyster case, water-resistant to 100 meters, is topped by a fluted white gold bezel incorporating the patented Ring Command system. This innovation allows the various functions (date, local time, reference time zone) to be selected directly via the bezel, offering a unique interaction between the case and the movement.

The Sky-Dweller 326934 is powered by the Rolex 9001 automatic caliber, one of the brand’s most sophisticated movements. With a power reserve of approximately 72 hours and certified as a Superlative Chronometer, it guarantees precision, robustness, and reliability in all situations.

The Rolex Cosmograph was launched in 1963 for race car drivers, and the “Daytona” name appeared a year later when Rolex became a sponsor of the 24 Hours of Daytona race in Daytona Beach, Florida. 

Introduced in 2016, the 116500LN model brought several improvements and new features compared to its predecessor, the 116520.
The main innovation was the introduction of a black ceramic bezel, which replaced the graduated steel bezel of the previous model. Ceramic is renowned for its scratch resistance and durability, which aligns perfectly with Rolex’s vision of always offering technical improvements that enhance the models’ durability over time.

Equipped with the Caliber 4130, this movement features a 72-hour power reserve, a 44% increase over the previous generation. This improvement is due to the increased size of the mainspring, made possible by the space freed up through the use of a single chronograph module.
