Cartier was founded by Louis-Francois Cartier in 1847, and has always been since synonym of exceptional craftsmanship, elegance and timeless design.
King Edward VII of England once called Cartier the "Jeweler of Kings and King of Jewelers." 
Cartier was the first to create in 1904 a men’s wristwatch with integrated lugs for Alberto Santos Dumont, Louis Cartier's friend and renowned aviator. Few years later in 1912 we saw the Tortue and an "oval watch" - inspiration model of the Baignoire, bathtub in French - and the world famous Tank in 1917.
All of these models and those who followed were made with an exquisite sense of design and proportion, that make Cartier so unique.

The Baignoire Allongée came few years later after the first Baignoire in **1957**. Its shape has been elongated in a very elegant way.
Made in rose gold, this model from early 2000's measures **22 x 47** mm, which perfectly fits on the wrist with the impressive curved shape of the case.

This watch comes as a full set with its box (deterioration of the lining), outer-box, Cartier certificate of origin (left blank), user manual and 2 straps.
