Introduced in **2005**, this seemingly simple model has all the qualities appreciated by Journe watches. 

Inspired by the marine chronometers of the early 19th century, it has been designed in the tradition of chronometry: to tell the time precisely and consistently. Although the dial is uncluttered and perfectly balanced, the placement of the power-reserve indication at 3 o'clock is a technical feat in itself. Moreover, the power reserve, as with marine chronometers, indicates how long the watch has been wound - not how much time is left before it stops.

This model, originally available in 40mm, has a rare **38mm** case, a size that is no longer available in standard production but which occupies a special place in the brand's history, given that the first models were designed in this smaller diameter.

The **silvered** guilloché dial features a **Clou de Paris motif** and contrasts perfectly with the blued hands in F.P. Journe's characteristic style. In addition to the hours and minutes, this model features a small seconds at 7 o'clock and a 56-hour power reserve indicator on the right-hand side at 3 o'clock. 

The platinum case is fitted with the calibre **1304** in 18-carat pink gold. This movement, visible through the glass back, has two barrel springs mounted in parallel to ensure perfect stability.

This model won the Men's Watch prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) when it was launched.

The watch is delivered with its box, outer-box, international warranty card, manual, Journe cloth and 1 Journe strap.
