Introduced in 1932 with ref. 96, the Calatrava collection was designed in the spirit of the Bauhaus aesthetic, emphasising simplicity, elegance and functionality. It is considered by many to be the most elegant and timeless classic watch ever created, distinguished by sleek dials, elegant hands and balanced cases. 

The ref. 5127 was available in two series: the first from 2005 to 2008 equipped with the calibre 315 SC, followed by a second series from 2010 to 2012 with the calibre 324SC. 

This model, which succeeds the reference 5107 introduced in 2002, has a more modern case with crown guards that takes up the features of the case of the Worldtime model reference 5110 introduced in 2000.

The model we have here is in 18-carat rose gold (hence the designation "5127**R**" for rose gold at Patek Philippe) and has an opaline dial with applied hour-markers and dauphine hands.  

On the back, through the transparent screw-down caseback, you can see the automatic winding calibre 324, which offers high precision and a 48-hour power reserve.

While retaining the timeless features of the Calatrava collection, this model manages to bring a more modern design to the case, making it the perfect choice for those who appreciate understated elegance.

The watch is available with its box, outer box, Patek Philippe certificate of origin, manuals and a 2022 Patek Philippe service invoice.
