The Patek Philippe 5370 is part of the manufacture’s long tradition of split-seconds chronographs, one of the most refined and complex complications in watchmaking. Patek Philippe is one of the most authentic interpreters of this complication, with a history dating back to the early 1920s and the Reference 1436, the first split-seconds chronograph wristwatch that Patek Philippe ever produced in series, launched in 1938. The 5370 thus draws its inspiration from these historic models, both in its classic aesthetics and its mechanical architecture, and represents a true synthesis of the Manufacture’s expertise.

Introduced in 2015, the 5370P marks a strong return by Patek Philippe to the segment of manually wound split-seconds chronographs, developed entirely in-house. 

Crafted using a demanding artisanal technique, its grand feu black enamel dial offers incomparable depth and brilliance, combined with applied “Breguet” Arabic numerals and leaf-shaped hands. The ensemble exudes a classic and timeless elegance, directly inspired by the brand’s historic chronographs.

The 41-mm platinum case features refined lines, with sculpted lugs and a finish that alternates between polished and satin-brushed surfaces. In keeping with Patek Philippe tradition, a discreet diamond set between the lugs at 6 o’clock highlights the nobility of the material. The chronograph and split-seconds pushers blend harmoniously into the design, highlighting the watch’s complexity without disrupting its balance.

The 5370P is powered by the CHR 29-535 PS caliber, a manual-winding split-seconds movement entirely designed and manufactured by Patek Philippe, offering a power reserve of approximately 65 hours and distinguished by a traditional architecture enhanced by exceptional finishes, visible through the sapphire case back.

The watch comes with its original box, certificate of authenticity, second solid caseback, document holder, and original literature.
