The Cellini collection pays homage to the Renaissance artist and craftsman, Benvenuto Cellini, who embodied the quest for artistic excellence and meticulous attention to detail – values ​​that are reflected in every Cellini watch.

Launched in 2017, reference 50535 marked a significant evolution in Rolex's Cellini collection, moving away from the simplicity of its predecessors since the collection's reboot in 2014. 
Previously, the Cellini line consisted mainly of models displaying only the time or the time and date, showcasing luxury in an elegant but uncomplicated way. 

The Cellini collection pays tribute to Renaissance artist and craftsman Benvenuto Cellini, who embodied the quest for artistic excellence and meticulous attention to detail - values that are reflected in every watch in the collection.

Reference 50535 features a white lacquered dial and a blue enameled moon disk. This design choice pays homage to vintage moon-phase watches such as the Padellone 8171 models, which played a key role in defining Rolex's vintage elegance. 

Equipped with a 39 mm Everose gold case, the watch features distinctive elements such as the emblematic fluted bezel and slightly flared crown. The date is read by a central hand pointing at the outer edge of the dial. The moon phase at 6 o'clock features an unusual representation. The new moon is symbolized by an empty silver ring, while the full moon shines intensely in the form of a meteorite disk. This model is equipped with the Rolex caliber 3195, a chronometer-certified automatic movement renowned for its astronomical accuracy over a 122-year period (if continuously wound), and has a 48-hour power reserve. 

This model went out of production in 2023, to be replaced by another classic collection: Rolex Perpetual 1908.

The watch is sold with box, outer-box, international warranty card and manual.
