This Rolex Datejust ref. 16234 is one of the best iconic everyday watch. A 36mm steel case well proportioned, the fluted bezel in white gold and the well-known Jubilee bracelet.

The Datejust was the first self-winding watch to indicate the date in a window on the dial which instantly jumps at midnight to ensure the date is “just” at all time. With its timeless design, a perfect readability of time, the date window and its self-winding movement, this model remains, since the launch in 1945, one the most popular Rolex watch.

This model from 1994 keeps the “Oyster” case design feature of older references while having many modern aspects : the flat dial, the sapphire crystal for a better resistance to water and the quickset date function.

The dial of this Rolex Datejust is in excellent condition with a warn silver finish and  tritium dots and hands show a beautiful patina.

Important point, this model houses the calibre 3135 used in a wide range of Rolex watch models, from Datejust models to Professional ones like the Submariner date models. It is considered as one of the most successful calibers ever produced by Rolex.

This watch, found in Japan, comes as a complete full set with International warranty papers dated 1995 (date of sale), box, outer-box, service warranty from 2005, invoice and receipt, Rolex leather holder and manuals.
