This Rolex Datejust ref. 16234 is one of the best watches for everyday wear. A well-proportioned 36 mm steel case, a fluted white gold bezel and the famous Jubilee bracelet.

The Datejust was the first self-winding watch to show the date in a window on the dial that jumps instantly at midnight to ensure that the date is "right" at all times. With its timeless design, perfect time legibility, date window and self-winding movement, this model has remained one of the most popular Rolex watches since its launch in 1945.

This 1994 model retains the "Oyster" case design of the earlier references, while featuring many modern aspects: the flat dial, the sapphire crystal for improved water resistance, and the quick set date function.

The dial of this Rolex Datejust is in excellent condition, with a particularly rare mouse-gray finish, tritium plots and hands with a beautiful cream patina.

Importantly, this model houses the caliber 3135 used in a significant number of Rolex models, from Datejust to Submariner with date. It is considered one of the most powerful calibers ever produced by Rolex.

This watch is delivered with box, outer-box, original warranty (date of sale 1997 in Germany) and original tag.
