The Rolex Submariner is an icon. Certainly the most iconic.

Originally designed in 1953 for professional deep-sea working and diving, the reliability and timeless proportions of the Submariner make it for most, the ultimate tool watch and became over the years, the reference for any diving watch. 

First introduced in **2008**, the Submariner 116619LB is crafted in 18-carat white gold, making it more of a luxury sports watch than a Rolex "toolwatch".

This model retains the characteristic 40 mm Oyster case, but features a so-called "Maxi-case" with wider lugs and crown guards than the previous generation, identified by a 5-digit reference. This new design, which appeared in 2005 with the 116718, marks the arrival of this new generation of models that appear significantly larger, even though the case diameter has remained the same.

The main feature of the Submariner ref. 116619 is the vibrant **blue** colour of the dial and bezel, hence its nickname "Smurf".
Equipped with the calibre 3135 first introduced in the late 1980s, this movement, which has a power reserve of 48 hours, is widely regarded as one of the best and most reliable mechanical movements for everyday use.

The watch is delivered with its box, outer-box, Rolex international warranty card, manuals and tag.
