The 222 model was created in 1977 and designed by the famous German designer Jorg Hysek to celebrate the 222nd anniversary of the Vacheron Constantin manufacture. 
The watch has a one-piece tonneau-shaped case, a fluted bezel and an integrated hexagonal link bracelet that makes it both sporty and very elegant. The model we have here is part of the "Historiques" collection, a contemporary reissue introduced in 2022 that is equipped with an open caseback allowing to see the caliber 2455/2 whose oscillating weight been redesigned.

The watch is delivered with its box, over-box, international warranty card and a user manual.
